These flatbreads will become a store-cupboard staple as they make a versatile additive free almost instant flatbread.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 225g Killowen Simply Natural Yogurt
  • 175g self-raising flour
  • 50g wholemeal flour
  • Drizzle of light olive oil
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • Killowen Cherry Pepper or Natural Cream Cheese
  • Smoked Irish salmon
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

METHOD:

Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.

  1. In a bowl, mix the Killowen Simply Natural Yogurt with sifted flours using a metal spoon until it forms a dough.
  2. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth. Divide into 4 equal balls, then flatten and roll out into round flatbreads.
  3. Brush the flatbreads with olive oil on both sides and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  4. Place the flatbreads in a single layer in the air fryer drawer and cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the flatbreads from Airfryer with tongs and allow to cool to touch.

For Assembly spread with Killowen Cream Cheese and top with smoked salmon. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
