Killowen Farm is delighted to announce that they have been accredited with Grade AA in the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety. This award is testament to the high standard of food safety which is adhered to in the production of their award winning yogurt in Courtnacuddy near Enniscorthy. This is the fourth year in which Killowen Farm has been accredited with top marks. The award is recognised globally and signifies Killowen Farm’s commitment to excellence.
The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is developed by food industry experts from retailers, manufacturers and food service organisations to ensure it is rigorous and detailed, yet easy to understand. The Standard is now in its seventh issue and is well-established globally. It has evolved with input from many leading global specifiers and provides a framework to manage product safety, integrity, legality and quality.
Commenting on the accreditation, (position) Nicholas/Pauline Dunne said “It’s a great achievement to have been awarded Grade AA in the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety. We pay a great deal of attention to food safety at Killowen Farm and this award speaks for itself.”
