Wex Biz AwardsIn a gala ceremony attended by almost 500 guests in Whites of Wexford on Friday 20th June, Killowen Farm has been awarded the Wexford Small Business of the Year for 2014. Organised by the Wexford Chamber of Commerce and now in their sixth year the Wexford Business Awards are a highly respected accolade for businesses in the county. These Awards are renowned for a robust and fair judging process, with a large panel of judges hailing from academia, industry leaders, government bodies, CEOs and senior directors. According to Madeleine Quirke, CEO Wexford Chamber, “The high calibre of past award winners has attracted many of Wexford’s top businesses and organisations to pledge their support to this year’s awards in recognising both established and emerging business stars. The awards represent the perfect opportunity to celebrate, inspire and encourage people to continue to work hard and succeed.”

We are thrilled to be chosen as Wexford Small Business of The Year from a strong panel of diverse businesses- everything from beauty to food to recycling was included. As previous winners of the Wexford Artisan Food Producer award we see this as a further endorsement of our business, not only in the context of food production, but in the wider business environment here in Co. Wexford. We truly appreciate the support shown by our peers here in the county as represented by both the Chamber and the Local Enterprise Office and we relish every opportunity to represent Wexford on a national level.
